Leveraging the capabilities of ChatGPT, the project sought to create a novel olfactory composition. Specifically, ChatGPT was tasked with formulating a perfume with the scent of a 3D printer combined with the smell of a warm cat. ChatGPT generated suggestions for top, middle, and base notes, each intended to symbolize distinct elements of the envisioned concept. These conceptual fragrances were subsequently translated into tangible olfactory components - manually selected and blended to create the envisioned aroma. The name of the perfume - "The Purrfect Print" - was also generated to match the thematic essence of the project. Following an extensive three-month maceration period, the perfume now stands as a testament to the integration of artificial intelligence and human creativity within the realm of olfactory aesthetics. As an artistic exploration, "The Purrfect Print" invites contemplation on the intersectionality of technology, creativity, and sensory experience, offering a nuanced perspective on the role of AI in contemporary artistic endeavors.
