The installation invites you between the sheets, into a living space that allows for a playful exploration of intimacies. A phantom organism created from the collected bed linens of our friends and families—spectral draperies that melt into a loose arrangement on walls and ceilings, exploring how notions of intimacy shape and are shaped by intimate relationships.
As you navigate this space, you are invited to negotiate boundaries and movement between pulsating, contracting walls that react to presence. We define the installation as an interactive sculpture, designed to respond to both presence and proximity through the use of DIY electronics—air tubes, relays, electric fans—and a custom soundscape.
